Poll Observer Training

As you are well aware, the November Election is critical for the survival of our nation as we
know it. Everyone needs to step up and be involved in making this election successful for the
nation. One way to do so is to volunteer to be a poll watcher or a poll greeter. This letter will
address the needs for poll observers, Poll Greeters, or people who stand outside and hand out
our slate cards will be addressed at a later date.

Poll observers work inside the polling place. If they observe an issue, they report it to Brunswick
Headquarters and our staff takes steps to resolve the issue. Training is most important to be
effective. Even though the NCGOP offers online training, we insist you complete our course to
qualify to be a Brunswick Poll Watcher.

Based on that we are offering courses each month starting in August. We will offer the course
in various parts of the county and at contrasting times with different instructors in order to try
to accommodate people who wish to volunteer. The schedule is as follows:

Saturday August 24th - 10AM- VFW POST 7288 in Calabash instructors Michele and Vinnie Russo
                                    1PM – Cutler’s office in Brunswick Forest – instructor- Greta Lehman
                                6:30PM – Brunswick GOP HQ in Bolivia- Instructor Bill Moore

Please Remember, Regardless of if you have taken the NCGOP Course, you are required to                                                                                        complete our local course before you will be scheduled to poll observe.
